National Pink Day – 50 Shades of Pink

National Pink Day provides a great opportunity

Today is a day to honor your daughter by going “Pink”! What better way to celebrate National Pink Day than to dedicate the entire day to the little girl who makes your world go around.

What can you do that includes the color pink on National Pink Day?

A Little Girl’s Dreams are Colored in Pink

Little girls love the color pink. I had pink jammies and slippers. My teddy bear was pink, and I wanted my room to be pink. Mother was an interior decorator, so my room was purple. Not a bad second choice!

Elizabeth Taylor once said, “I fell off my pink cloud with a thud.”  She isn’t the only female who equates pink with everything good.

Pink Music in the Background

Don’t we all feel a little better when we hear The Pink Panther Theme?

Take a second to listen to Pink Houses by John Mellencamp or dance with your daughter to the tune of Pink from Aerosmith.

Mom used to hum Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White when she did the housework. I preferred Pink Cadillac by Bruce Springsteen.

Dress the Part

Dress up any anything pink today. Bring out your pink elephants and dedicate the day to your favorite young girl. Purchase her a wrist corsage with pink rosebuds. Make everything about her and the color pink.

Let the Color Pink Inspire You!

Every little girl hopes her daddy will pay absolute attention to her. Jumping on this holiday to show how much you love being her father is the perfect treat.

Add to those memories by making some unique sweets:

  • Pink Lemonade
  • Pink Frosted Cookies
  • Pink Grapefruit
  • Pink Frosties
  • Pink Ice Cream
  • Pink Frosted Cake or Brownies

Paint your toenails pink. The guys at work will never know, and you can chuckle your way through another stressful day.
